Not to be nitpicky, but how is this guy a burglar when people are in the house and threatened? Once this idiot knew people were in the house and proceeded to enter, doesn’t that make him a “robber?”

From 21 feet an assailant in good physical condition has a good chance of getting to you before you can get off an effective shot. The closer he is the more risk you face.
