Yep. They call themselves “bullfighters”. I’ve met a couple of them. They are agile and quick and fearless. Their purpose is to help and protect the bull riders. These people who are complaining think rodeo is a street in Beverly Hills.
Damn right - rodeo clowns are the real deal. And they are far more manly than the fancy-pants Spanish bullfighters. Rodeo clowns have no weapon, nor are their bulls drugged.
Yes, this is the equivalent of blackballing EMTs. You can’t just go out and pick up replacements from “Bozos R Us.” I wonder how many lives this fellow saved that day?
