Hopefully the MB effort to impose Sharia on the Egyptian people against their will has caused El-Sisi to rethink his notion that Islam and individual freedom can harmoniously coexist.

Remember that Sisi appointed people like ElBaradei to the vice-president position, a man who once expressed willingness to go to war with Israel. (ElBaradei just resigned three days ago over the “violence” of course, which implies sympathy with the MB on some level.)
