Why would the mother allow him to go so many places with her unless she trusted him. Why would she trust him?? Because he was her father and she knew it and he knew it — but Hannah did not.

Imagine how angry a 16 year old girl might get when she finds out that the older man that she is infatuated with is sleeping with her mother and is really her biological father.
