Is it too late for a conservative to get in the race? Even as a write-in candidate? At worst, it might ensure that CC's presidential ambitions go down in flames. At best, we might get a Paul LePage like they did in Maine.

There is no downside. I’d rather see conservatives write somebody in than vote for Christie. He’s become disgustingly political and his bluster has lost its shine.
