I believe this is happening.
My son, a white university student, was attacked on the street by 3 unknown black males. He was severely beaten especially in the face. They did not rob him. His new phone was taken...nothing else. He thinks that was so he couldn’t call for help.
The police refused to investigate. The EMTs didn’t want to take him to the hospital. He finally insisted and they took him. He was in the hospital for a week and had to go back daily for outpatient treatment to his eyes. The doctor told him if he hadn’t come to the hospital, he would probably be blind.
