A Michigan State University Creative Writing professor was caught on video saying Republicans are old people with "dead skin cells washing off them" who raped the United States to get "everything out of it they possibly could."
He then threatened a student who apparently frowned and made a comment during his rant.
Professor William Penn made the comments in one of his classes and the video was posted online. In the video (see below), Penn challenges in front of the entire class the student who comments and apparently frowns.
"I am a college professor. If I find out you are a closet racist, I am coming after you," Penn said.
In the 1:53 video posted by Campus Reform, Penn said Republicans are a "bunch of dead white people, or dying white people."
At one point, Penn asked his class: "Anybody here want to be Mitt Romney? Him? I mean (lets out sigh) married to her (Ann Romney)?"
A Michigan State official said the university is looking into the incident.
"MSU has been made aware of the situation, and we will be looking into it," MSU Spokesman Kent Cassella said in an email. "At MSU, it is important the classroom environment is conducive to a free exchange of ideas and is respectful of the opinions of others."
Penn didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
Randall Jensen, an MSU student and member of the MSU College Republicans, said he didn't approve of Penn's comments made in the classroom.
"What bothers me is that he is using his position of authority and respect in a classroom to persuade political opinions," Jensen said. "I don't think that is acceptable for somebody in his position."
Pretty good description of Dems to me, looking at dorks like John Kerry & Hillary Clinton.

But, but, but.... the professor is just exercising his free speech rights. You know, the rights he and people like him do not allow to those who disagree with them.

Any wonder why Republicans don't win these arguments? They get punched in the face, belittled and insulted in the ugliest of terms and they still want to give a measured, polite response.

Just whenever you get a chance, drop her an email or even call her office and let her know just how much you appreciate the University's commitment to diversity, freedom of expression and the right to be conservative as well as liberal... and don't forget to mention that you want that bastard professor Randall Jensen fired for his lack of adherence to the school's policies. And whatever you do don't send you kid to that godless, hell hole of a school.
He is not persuading; he is threatening.

I am older and went for my MBA at night.
I had a few professors on the goofy left who voiced their idiotic opinions not even closely related to the class I was taking (and paying for).
Most students are scared to death of professors. Either they are just girly-men (or women) in our present metrosexual culture or just don’t want to risk their grades.
I am a three timed deployed combat vet - I could care less. I would voice my opinion (based on facts) every so often to keep the professors on edge/straight.
Especially on Iraq and Afghanistan as a first hand witness.
Never had a bad grade either.

And Michigan State University is an up-and-coming place. This guy diminishes the entire university.
Apparently, Penn is part American Indian ( a lot more so that that fake Indian Elizabeth Warren). I guess he feels that that gives him the right to talk bad about whites, even though he is mostly white himself.

The berated student who kept quiet though did the right thing. He was in a position of disadvantage. Had there been a fight he could have been possibly arrested for attacking a professor.
The professor should be arrested for assault.

With all the awards he has won, I doubt that they would fire him. But I don’t know how he won any teaching awards with his high-handed arrogance toward students!!!!
