HICKS: MSU prof draws penalty for anti-GOP tirade
“Mr. Penn is not unique. In fact, hes a cliche. Hes the self-described child of the 60s who believes his forum in a university classroom allows him to teach his leftist politics as truth, even if he has to intimidate his students to do it. Its time he and his fellow liberals within the academy noticed that many of the students before them are engaged, well-informed and unmoved by the leftist indoctrination that passes for course content.
You have to wonder what Mr. Penn said prior to the start of the anonymous students taping that made the student pull out his or her phone in the first place. If the nervous laughter on the recording is any indication, heads were shaking when those students left the room.”

Outstanding response by that student!
Nice work, if you can get it!
A creative writing professor makes almost $147k? You’ve got to be kidding me. No wonder education costs so much.
Ummmm, there were no such things as “republicans” when the country was created. And the Republicans basically fought the southern democrats (DEMOCRATS) in the civil war and died for a bunch of black people, among other reasons.
He must be really, really, really creative.
It’ll probably end up in an insincere apology. My guess.
I gotta think he can’t be so wonderful that he’d make book income higher than this. Why put up with the annoyances of teaching at a college, any college?
The name William Penn then blurred the passing of time. Academic is he? For many years ago, now in Canada, I took a visit to my native country England. To re live my boyhood, I journeyed out by bicycle to Buckingshire. There was the pretty and pristine villaqe of Penn.
American visitors were there and I quaffed an ale and listened. They seemed very much at ease. For it was William Penn (1644-1718) a Quaker, who have lived in Buckinghamshire. Thence he went to Pennsylvania in what is now the United States of America. He wrote the Constitution of Pennsylvania, in 1681.
William Penn, as a Quaker was a pacifist and a God fearing man. There is nothing against Penn, save that he did employ slaves and decreed that on his death they should be free.
I hope to be excused this ramble, but I could only hope William might at least consider the wonderful history of the United States. Sure there was some frightful things that happened. The whole thing is that having established a new world, it was not instant democracy. The the early settlers just could not suddenly turn into paragons of virtue. It took time.
Tolerance, my dear William, tolerance- and do a little research on your namesake.
