Those were the days. My posse and I did the same thing at Briggs Stadium in Detroit, with our Tigers heros. Old story: I had a couple of shoeboxes of cards, not just baseball, but Korean War cards, boxing champions, the Lions, and into the trash they went when I was in boot camp.
I had a supply of baseball cards...and an even greater supply of now valuable comic books.
