North Korean Central TV on Monday aired more performances by the newly-created Moranbong troupe attended by leader Kim Jong-un.
The show featured various groups of female singers and instrumentalists in their early to mid-20s dressed in mini-skirts, high-heeled shoes or off-the-shoulder tops.
The troupe enjoyed a brief moment in the international spotlight by dressing up as Disney characters in one performance, another first for the staunchly anti-imperialist nation.

The pic is the South Korean band Crayon Pop.
I still don’t get the helmets. lol
They’re flame retardant helmets. Pyongyang always talking about putting Seoul into a ‘Sea of Fire.’
What, texgrill faking? Say it ain’t so.
Should have a pic of the North Korean band.
I guess Crayon Pop was funnier though
I like the helmet heads better.
Looks like something from the 50’s
Singing their Number One smash hit, “I Like You, But My Heart Belongs to The Great Leader, Kim Il Sung, Even Thought He’s Been Dead for Twenty Years.”
Don’t forget about their new upcoming single, “My Seoul is a Sea of Fire.” on their Nuke Babes special edition CD.
Needs more cowbell.
It’s like anything asian.
Five people in a group/team.
All wear different colors.
G-Force, Voltron, Power Rangers, etc.
I mean if that’s not a classic power rangers/g-force pose I don’t know what is.
Hope none of them date their dear leader, Kim. He’ll have her executed as he did his ex-singer girlfriend.
Has dear leader scheduled their executions yet?
Either the gal in greenish yellow or the one in blue. Or both. Their spacing is a bit off.
Might have to off them both. I think the one in the blue is also the same one on the far left of the top picture and she just isn’t looking happy enough. Might have to mortar her.

The people want bread and circuses. North Koreans are starving. Will circuses make them forget that?
I could not watch the video of this concert without wondering which of these girls and other orchestra leaders have been murdered?
Since this video was made in July 6, 2012, and the article’s first sentence says the Moranbong “troupe” was “newly created”, have to think some of these girls have been off’ed.
LOL!
Real Red Chinese Cultural Revolution smash hits:
“After Reaping the Bumper Crop” and “Grandma Sees Six Different Machines”
