The problem is the attitudes of Americans, which has shifted to the left over the past few decades. We can talk about RINOs all we want, but the reason we have them is because that's who their constituents nominated and voted for.

I don't believe even a Reagan could have won in 2012. In 1980, Americans wanted to be put back to work. In 2012, the homosexuals wanted their lifestyles legitimized, the unions wanted Obama to run interference for them while they plundered the economy, the flukes wanted their free birth control and abortions, and the takers wanted a government that would keep on providing for them. And that is what they voted for.

If we want more Cruz-like candidates (and I do), then we're going to have to convince Americans to elect them. Otherwise, expect more of the same.

The problem with your reasoning is we DIDN'T vote for the likes of Ayotte, Flake, and even McCain. Their campaign promises were to be conservatives. No RINO who sabotaged us from within will ever see office again.

Don't blame the US public for this one. Cruz, Lee, and those who coalesced around them inspired the nation. Heck, they even bring in part of the hispanic vote. The reason Obamacare wasn't stooped is the RINO traitors. And appease the voters back home? They'll never see office again, not one of them.

At this point, a shout-out to Marc Rubio. He redeemed himself. We'll have to see if he got the message on the invasion of the US.
