2. You'll never change anything if your head is buried in poll numbers. People need to be inspired to see a better vision for the US. Cruz, Lee and their allies can do that. Haven't you noticed? Most people don't like what Obama's doing; Cruz was the first one to articulate a better way.
3. Think about Obama's desire to arm AlQaida in Syria. Think about what happened when Snowden was labelled a traiter and hunted to the four corners of the earth. Think about the near universal disgust about Benghazi. The time is right to push back on Obamacare. A lot of Obama's base is as fed up as we are, but won't come over for a bunch of disgusting sellout RINOs.
Granted.

In the polls that count in 2006, 2008, and 2012, we lost.
People need to be inspired to see a better vision for the US.
The better vision many saw was free abortions and birth control, homosexual marriage, and handouts. I doubt they share in Cruz's better way, and they won't unless the free money runs out.
Cruz, Lee and their allies can do that. Haven't you noticed?
I've noticed at DU that the left is in full attack mode. We need to keep them from winning the moderates over.

Beghazi happened before the 2012 elections. Arming AQ in Libya happened before the 2012 elections. Obamacare happened before the 2012 elections. Many Americans were disgusted, but Obama won because more were more concerned about their free abortions and birth control, homosexual rights, and government handouts.

Go to DU to see what his base is saying. They are disgusted with Obama, but not ready to go over to either Conservatives like Cruz or RINOs. Many are "ready for Hillary", not Conservatives.
I hope you're right, but I'm not seeing it yet.
