and what exactly does the great Mark Levin suggest be done?.....
I just listened to the same segment a few minutes ago. This is what I just wrote, summarizing how I understood Mark:
Why has Obama refused to negotiate, and instead insisted, with Harry Reid, on shutting down the government? Because he is setting the stage for similar intransigence when the debt ceiling comes up.
The Constitution assigns to the HOUSE ALONE the power to impose a tax or appropriate funds. Obama’s plan is to create another deadlock, and then usurp Congress’s power to tax and spend. He will claim the power to raise the debt ceiling and to tax and spend without Congressional appropriations.
Obama will have, in effect, abolished Congress. Leftist think-tanks and leftist law professors have already been publishing articles in which the 14th Amendment is tortured and twisted in order to rationalize Obama’s planned usurpation of the exclusive powers of the House. One of their tricks is to obfuscate the difference between a Congressional “authorization” and a Congressional “appropriation.” The pretense will be that, if Congress has authorized the existence of some program, the President can, by himself, appropriate and spend funds on the program.
Could not the Speaker of the House obtain an injunction from the USSC?
He can’t hide from the producers. National strike. One man cannot rule freedom lovers.
If he does that and congress doesn’t stop him, what are our options? I’m sure the world salivates at the thought of Obama doing this. I don’t want to surrender my country.
Even **IF** 0bama could increase the debt limit, it doesn’t matter.
That still won’t get those 800,000 laid off federal employees paid again.
They are gone.
To get them paid, the House and Senate have to agree on new funding.
In the meantime, the government is running a surplus at the moment without those 800,000 employees on the payroll.
Well, you don’t need to borrow more money when you are running a surplus, and raising the debt limit only means that you can borrow more.
No need.
So Levin’s plan can’t work even IF 0bama could pull off the raising of the debt limit.

I honestly don’t know.
I am going to bed and I am not going to obcess on this.....there is nothing I can do about it...
If Obama does this then he can start writing EO’s to fund whatever he wants, ignore congress completely.
Wow, not sure why the need to attack Levin.
I’m guessing he has more ideas and has done more to help than you have. Just a guess.
To your snarky question, I guess the answer would be first and foremost, to freakin tell people, so they can go out and educate others. Isn’t that a great idea? Let people know what the hell is happening and how this crap is going down!
Hard to argue your point if you don’t know what the hell they are doing.
Hats off to Mark, and others who are sounding the bells.
Btw, curious what you’ve done today, yesterday, last month, to help get the country back? Just wondering.
Levin said we now live in a post-Constitutional period of time
Levin can only educate and inform and he is doing a great job of it
If Congress fails to carry out their responsibilties all we can do is try to elect a new Congress, despite election fraud that has become institutionalized imo
One thing the average citizen can do is go Galt to the best of their ability to starve the beast
Stop being a consumer.
Just stop.
Pay your taxes but nothing else. (Not that there will be much left after paying your taxes)
Live simply and take care of family and help your friends and others who truly need it, to the best of your ability
Yes, that’s right, if Obamao arrogates to himself the power to raise the debt limit, then he can presumably issue treasuries unilaterally and spend the resulting funds however the hell he pleases. We will have ourselves a genuine dictator when it comes to spending.
PING!
