I actually wouldn’t blame the Socialists / Communists for the unconstitutionally big federal government that is now on our backs. The real problem, imo, is that parents have not been making sure that their children are being taught the Constitution as the Founding States had intended for it to be understood, particularly the division of federal and state government powers. And such indifference to the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers has been going on probably since the day that the Constitution was ratified.
And all that Socialists / Communists are doing is taking advantage of widespread ignorance of the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.
It took generations and decades to get to this point and may take some time to unravel the damage done. In the meantime we need to stop the incoming tide of Socialism / Communism.
