Amen!
At the very least, drop their insurance coverage so that they’ll have to join one of the exchanges.
I thought most of them already have, given the feedback here and on talk radio, many businessmen looked at the car bumper stickers in their parking lot(s) and then proceeded with a plan of action....
I did....five years ago.
It’s just that doing so would unleash a raft of Equal Opportunity lawsuits.
WHAAAATTT!!!!!
There may something good within this guy after all!.....even after hanging out w/0’Pinhead all these years!!!!!

Miller is right.
OH YEAH!
For the most part don’t Obama supporters mostly work for government?
I recall stories in the news before about employers telling those weasels not to let the door hit them in the ass on their way out and they got what they voted for.
I have not heard of any, but I assume that there has been lawsuits against employers, (dumb enough for stating that reason), for terminating an employee for political stance, (but only if the employee is a lib is it encouraged to sue an employer).
However, for conservative employees it’s open season by Obama loving employers.
NOTE: If Chart scaled entries---bottom number would be a pin-prick.
Hey, I know damn well that I’ve lost jobs because of my very public political beliefs.
I wouldn’t hire a liberal ..... because they’re stupid and immoral.
Good, let the liberals worry about their political affiliation for once.
Hah. I have often urged doctors not to treat lawyers. Let them suffer, rot and die. Doctors should kick Demicrats off their patient rolls first. Let them suffer, die and rot.
They voted against a business ability to do business, so it would certainly be justified.
Quietly, I think a lot of companies have been doing this for years in both political directions. This is why it is very unwise for employees to put political bumper stickers on their cars and talk politics in the office.
However, in one instance I know of, an employer was able to turn the politics of his employees more conservative, and all at once. Though it began with a tragedy.
Their office was near a bad part of town, and when one of the female employees had worked late, and went to the parking lot, she was mugged and beaten pretty badly. This enraged the owner, who made a new policy that employees, no matter their job, had to be armed with guns at work. (Of course, with no punishment for not being armed.)
This sent a double message that the owner was quite angry, and that he cared about his employees. He was also clear that if they had to defend themselves, the company would back them in court. This made morale quite high among the staff.
It also made them a lot more conservative in their politics.
Libtard bosses are firing conservative employees... Do it to them too
I have been a contractor for 25 years at many places- I have seen it over and over
It’s a good idea in principle. However, from a practical point of view, you must be more strategic. In WI, which is an “at will” employment state, you still have to give a reason for termination when the ex-employee submits their unemployment claim. Reasons having to do with ideology are problematic and could lead to a discrimination claim. Reasons such as poor work performance need to be documented with evidence of periodic reviews and attempts at improving the employee’s performance.
The best approach is to make sure, wherever possible, that each employee has a different job title/ description. That way, claims of seniority are less pertinent. Then, you can simply contend that the employee position is no longer needed, or needs be downsized because of prevailing business conditions, financial stability of business etc.
The 0-supporter is a natural ally of the state workforce development bureaucrat and don’t think that together, they will concoct some type of discrimination claim to take a conservative business owner down.
Getting rid of 0-supporters does really make sense. Typically, they are your poorest performing employees, and they are more likely to engage in sabotage against your business.
But the best piece of advice is not to give them a job in the first place. Although you can’t ask them about their political beliefs on the interview, there are safe indirect questions you can ask. And, there are the other obvious predictors that are better left unsaid.
