Wait 'til Obamacare starts scheduling surgeries, tests, procedures. Wait 'til Obamacare starts checking for drug incompatibilities, dosages, etc. Wait 'til Obamacare starts doing the real medical stuff.

Currently, the Obamacare website just matches up people with participating health insurance providers, who already have long experience with dealing with doctors.

The fun will start when these health insurance providers increasingly discover that the only people who've signed up are those with expensive chronic conditions, whose cost of service greatly exceeds premiums paid. As the losses mount, the insurance providers will have a choice between limiting treatment options, or going bankrupt.

What happens when somebody has "health insurance" in theory, but in practice no doctors able to see him for the next nine months?

Obamacare’s NOT going to go under. This regime isn’t committed to populism, market forces, or any other thing that even pretends toward people making their own decisions about what’s good for them or not good for them.

If they don’t get 7,000,000 enrollees, then they will register 7,000,000 anyway. In fact, they will blow that goal out.

The 2014 tax form will be a defacto application for the 18 to 25 year olds, and their enrollment will be withheld. When people complain about it, they are going to quote Roberts and say, “Even Roberts said it was a tax. What did you expect?”

They are going to get their enrollees, voluntarily, or by conscription.
