Rubio has burned his bridges to the RINOs. He stood by Cruz for the 21 hours. Along with Cruz, he does does what the conservatives need to do. That would be bringing in most of the Cuban population and other conservative hispanics to put together a better, RINO-free party.

Rubio thought he could work with Schummer and McCain and get a fair compromise....he got played.

If we're going to do this, we need to accept Rubio as a conservative who made a big miscalculation. We should put the wrath where it belongs...to people like Flake and Ayotte who totally went over to the dark side.

Agreed. I would take a reformed RINO for the reason you stated. He has to continue to deliver to the cause to keep regaining trust.

Ok Ok .....

But he’s in the dog house until after the 2016 elections

AND after he makes a heartfelt apology to conservatives

AND after he writes a book about how he got suckered that also reveals how he has ‘matured’

AND after God says so.

Don’t be so naive. Rubio follows the political winds. He is the definition on an empty suit.

By the way, don’t worry about him being out of favor with his RINO buddies...his endorsement of McConnell last week should patch things up nicely for him.

I agree. I think Rubio got played. He got surrounded by the likes of McCain and wanted to “work” it out and then realized too late that it was a bad idea. Also with Coulter’s book coming out criticizing him for taking such a stance on imigration, it problably hit home. He also is trying to pander to the latinos in Florida. I use to think he would be presidential material, but after seeing how easily he got played, I think he would be better suited for a cabinet postion.
