[Scooter gives us so many laughs and keeps us cheered as we watch this detestable Obama administration commit crime after crime. Now, Scooter and his wife are grieving for their beloved doggies. Please pray for their comfort in this heartbreaking time. See below for his post. ~Gina]
The best little friends and companions anyone could ever wish for.
Leilani (Cocker/Poodle) passed several months ago just two weeks shy of her 17th birthday. Later today we will be taking Sophie (Cocker) to the vet to be put down at almost exactly the same age. She quit eating when Leilani left, and our efforts to comfortably sustain her are now failing.
17 years is a long time - words cannot express the sorrow I feel as I type this.

Sending prayers. Losing pets is the same as losing members of the family.
Prayers to help through this most difficult time.
It’s so painful. Thank you, OG!
Pinging Joe 6-Pack’s Doggie Ping List
Thank you!
Prayers up.
They will not be forgotten. I know from experience.
Prayers up.
I’m thinking of you. I know how hard it is to lose a pet——it’s the worst part of dog ownership......
prayers up!
God bless! I hope wonderful pups come along to help fill the emptiness.
Prayers up!! We have two “Rescues” that are reaching that point ourselves!!!
Many thanks to you!
Prayers up for your comfort.
At the rainbow bridge they wait
to hear your familiar footsteps once again
and run to lick your loving hand.
Thank you, Mamzelle!
The Rainbow Bridge. A reader posted that at Scooter’s site today:
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...
Hugs and Prayers for Scooter and his wife.
Thanks so much, Divine Moments of Truth!
