I can tell you is you can meet two women at the same time, one “beautiful” and the other “plain” or even a bit “homely.”
After interacting with them for perhaps an hour the “beautiful” one can become “grotesque” and you might find the “homely” one quite cute.
But, to answer your question, I think most men want respect and support.
