Here’s something I haven’t heard discussed. From what I’ve found on the internet there are 26 million vets in this country. The VA treats less than 6 million. I believe millions of vets will be signing up for VA medical benefits rather than pay the high premiums of obamacare. And the VA will not be able to handle them.
I go to the VA and it’s hard enough to get decent treatment in a timely manner as it is.

So if millions of citizens pay /file late for their income taxes late, they can argue that the IRS should just “deem” them paid/filed on time, and the taxes will be paid retroactively , avoiding penalties and interest.
I remember years back during the Congressional Check Kiting scandal that a woman went to court for the same thing and argued that congress had done it, and a judge let her off.
