"Duck Dynasty" will NOT go homeless if A&E decides to pull the plug ... TMZ has learned, at least two other networks are salivating at the chance to pick up the popular reality show.
The owner of the popular Christian-affiliated Hunt Channel -- a guy named Merrill Sport -- tells TMZ, he'd pick up DD in a heart beat ... and would beam the show straight to its most loyal viewers: sportsmen and Christians.
He says, "We believe in the 2nd amendment and freedom of speech ... A&E needs to put on their big boy pants, and if they don't like the programming, they need to either let [DD] go or shut up and pay them."
Sports adds, "A&E is too scripted. [Hunt Channel] would let the personalities flow."
Rusty Faulk, CEO of the outdoorsy Pursuit Channel agrees, telling us Pursuit is 100% interested in grabbing DD if A&E takes a pass. Rusty adds, "We don't censor our personalities."
Even if DD comes to an end on A&E, we're told its contract with the family provides they couldn't do another show for a certain period of time.
A&E fired up the Mother of All Exploding Cigars. LOL! I love it when the progs do that!

I was looking forward to A&E bringing back their "Bates Hotel" series.

As a regular viewer of this show for the past 6 months, I can no longer see myself watching your channel due to your recent decision to suspend Phil Robertson because of the vile, hateful and intolerant threats of an insignificant minority of the population and their militant voice at GLAAD.
Hope you enjoy making one of the worst business decisions in history.

For example, why by insurance from a company in the North East, when that company is providing a livelyhood to people that give us politicians like Chuck Schumer? USAA (just an example) is based largely in Louisiana I believe. It costs you very little to switch you Home, Auto, Life, etc insurance to a company with Southern roots.
The same with entertainment. With technology, we now have the potential to have a boycott like MLK did with bussing in the South - only on a larger scale.
I hope the Chik-Fil-A fiasco and this A&E fiasco shows there is a potential to start an economic boycott of everything 'Blue State'. I probably don't have the smarts to do it myself, but kindling has been stacked - someone just needs to light the match and lead the way.

I imagine if the show comes to an end it’ll be A&E ending it. And I imagine the Robertsons have a clause in the contract allowing them to go to another network.
Cracker Barrel just announced they screwed up and is putting everything back on their shelves. We should support them like we did with the chicken sandwiches.
I'm glad you mentioned Chik-Fil-A. Before the "gay boycott" or whatever the homo's were doing, I'd never heard of Chik-Fil-A. One opened up near me a few months before that whole fiasco and I never bothered to try it.
On "Chik-Fil-A Day" I went to support them and tried their food for the first time. Been a loyal customer once a month since.

Unfortunately, I see a great possibility that A&E won't do this. If they can shelve DD and not sell it, it stifles the family from doing another show while they are under contract. SILENCING their message.
I believe that A&E wanted to create a show embarrassing people in flyover country. They in inadvertently got a hit show that promoted and encouraged Christian values instead of denigrating them. A&E got what THEY DID NOT WANT, so they have done everything in their power to sabotage the show. 3 or 4 days a week they do DD marathons. They have marketed just about anything and everything. I believe this is all to saturate and overexpose DD.
Hollywood is run by liberals, who hate all things from God. They'll do whatever they can to destroy anything Christian.
A&E pays DD $220k per episode. Season 5 is in the can, with a supposed 10 episodes. $2.2 million is a cheap cost for Disney to try and destroy DD.
Like Phil said, before DD started, "It'll never work. But if God is behind it, it'll go right to the top."
If God wants DD (or some other show with the Robertsons) to succeed, nothing that Hollywood does will be able to stand against it.
