US courts do have the power to direct US marshals. That’s where the fun begins. Will SS agents stand down?

Grace, you’re posting to the wrong thread.

Oh yeah, THAT will stop the nutjob cold, right? My thoughts exactly. Nothing has stopped him up to now. What makes us think anything or anyone will stop him in the future?

The Peoples Representatives in Congress have issued subpoenas Obama and Holder and Sebelius have laughed at them.
They drop the Subpoenas and go on to anther scandal.
This Congress is nothing. A total waste.
Boehner and McConnell are totally useless.

"least that would be my defense when I refuse to pay the penalty/tax."
The extent of the "exceptions to date would seem to invalidate the whole law under the 14th Amendment.

The faster we (i.e. the low info voters) run towards autocratic rule, the more intense the media will tell us it's a vast right wing conspiracy. No matter what the democRATs/Marxist/socialists/progressives say...sorry for the redundancy, they at the moment are in charge.
Methinks we are approaching the point of no return.

The gop is complicit in Deathcare. Why would they do anything to stop it?

He is only the Commander in Chief after congress has declared a war. Congress hasnt declared war since 1941 There is no defined procedure or method described in the constitution for the declaration of war. Congresss power to declare war is outlined in just those three words.
So congress can use whatever form of congressional action they choose to authorize the president to go to war. The Tonkin Gulf resolution passed by both houses that authorized the Viet Nam War is just as valid, if not satisfying, as the Declaration of War against Japan in 1941.
Certainly tradition carries a lot of weight but no congress can place an obligation on a future congress.
And war by any other name is just as bloody.

You know this reminds me of the ghetto adage; so whatchoo got?
OK judiciary. Whatchoo got? They can hint, express displeasure, and pitch a fit till the cows come home. It doesn’t matter worth a pitcher of warm s***. In reality, the judiciary is doing nothing but running political interference and is just as complicit.

Unfortunately the judiciary is complicit as well. Sending signals doesn’t mean squat. And the judiciary knows it.
