Lol!
I recall the northeast blackout.
I also recall wondering if it was a test to see our reactions.
Also recall some claiming it was “impossible” to attack the powergrid.

The grid has been outdated as far back as I can remember, whatever that means.

Also recall some claiming it was impossible to attack the powergrid.Well, considering that the SUN can attack our power grid, I wouldn't listen to them.

and with traffic systems inoperable and roadways likely jammed, therell likely be no way out.Sure glad I don't live in a big blue city.

I’d prefer a muscle car with an actual carburetor, but the amount of gas that thing would use would make it unaffordable for me.

I don’t live in one, but I’m close enough to two that the crazies could make it out here in the event of a widespread disaster.

Most of the grid in California is fused at short intervals, and would come back up quickly. (as in a day at most)
Home appliances, on the other hand, might not fare well if they are plugged in.

Well at lest you could put some gas aside in cans and still be able to drive it. What do all the “evnvironmentals” do when the grid goes down? shuffle their feet on a wool carpet to recharge?

Interesting that one of the commenters in the posted article is surnamed ‘Carrington’.
To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks
I didn’t listen to the idiot then.
He got insulting about it too.
Was rather amusing.

Too bad California doesn’t make near enough power for their own people.
