It's a shame a couple of you are on FR as well.......
Paterno facilitated Sandusky. Pretty simple, really.
Good thing they aren't like this when it comes to politics. /s
It could have been some combination of the two, but even if it's the former (only Paterno and God know the whole truth) it's a stain forever.
Well then here is your opportunity to prove it in a court of law.
Contact the legal team of Freeh, NCAA, and Media with all of your evidence because they will be scraping the bottom of the barrel for people like you and all that evidence that they never had.
I have one question. What justification was there for the NCAA to punish the entire Penn State football team? Were they not required to forfeit games and bowl games for several years? You have a criminal case against an assistant coach-okay but his actions were not directly involved with the football team and the games.
That I, like you, am entitled to an opinion.
You don't understand. Only the Paterno apologists and sycophants are right. Only THEY have a right to an opinion.
Paterno was complicit in covering for Sandusky. He said himself that he should have done more. ‘nuff said. Give it up.
You ask a good question —
Furthermore note that 3 of the 4 administrators in this coverup accusation are the President over the whole University, Vice President over the whole University, and the Athletic Director over all the sports — not just football.
So then why single out just football???
Why not sanction all the sports, and everything that the President and Vice President were in charge of — especially the President’s sacred sexual diversity curriculum???
Usually they nail a program for 'loss of institutional control'. Here, there was full institutional control, but the entire institution was corrupt. They should have imposed the 'death penalty' on the program.
Ohhh so now you’re a victim — good luck with that.
Exactly. But why sanctions on the football team or any team for that matter. The criminal activity of an assistant coach and cover up by the coach and administrators does not IMHO warrant punishment for the team or as you point out all of the teams.
Apparently the judge disagrees with you —
I’ll go with the judge.
Okay, so if Sandusky had committed his despicable actions off campus, say in his own home or in a motel or park, should the football team been sanctioned?

Does that go for the judge in this case as well since he is agreeing that the Paterno family has a case???
That you have to continually give the guy a Lewinsky even though he's dead, his records are gone (thankfully always gone), and his statue is down doesn't say much for you.
