I’m not sure about the details, but there are open question periods where anything can be asked by the opposition of Ministers or the PM.
The only thing is, if it’s something obscure or technical and the question gets popped out of the blue, the response is likely to be “I’ll have to get back to you that”, which is only fair.
The parties do some scripting ahead of time, but the individual members can ask whatever they want and can follow each question with a supplementary question. It does tend to make for great theatre.
