So, sell your birthright for a mess of pottage. Glad our states are looking out for us. /sarc

And thank God that my State of Texas had the wisdom not to sell its soul for the almighty dollar.

No Common Core in TX? I’m seriously thinking our children will grow up to be Texans. DH and I are California natives and truly love our home state, despite the damage that has been done to it. But I can’t recommend it to my children as a place to raise their own children when the time comes. Texas sounds better.
