Nice musical, but the true story was even better. Annie won the shooting contest. And for the rest of their long married lives she accused her husband of throwing it deliberately and he stoutly denied it.

Quite a love story, actually. When at last she died he only survived her for a couple of weeks. The light of his life was gone.
