Well, since you’re such an apostle of Rood perhaps you could tell me. If Jesus is God, and the Father is God but there is no Trinity taught in scripture are there two Gods? How does that work in Rood’s teaching?

He only spreads the true [unleavened] Word. That's probably why I haven't heard him mention it. Beside, didn't we cover this in another thread and agree a belief in a trinity wasn't a prerequisite to salvation?

No, he really doesn’t. He adds back in many of the Mosaic laws. Which of the 613 laws are to be observed isn’t clear so anyone listening seems to be left on their own with no clear guidance. Then there’s the issue of his fraudulent portrayal of himself as a Rabbi and the beliefs of “The Way International” that show him to be less than forthright at least. In reality Rood is no better than Catholics with his rules, rituals and vestments. I would put him and his followers on the same level as Catholics.

Belief in the trinity as such may not be but there being two Gods or Jesus not being God would be a serious problem. So the Roodites still have a serious problem in that. At least the Catholics got the concept of the trinity right. Roodites can’t seem to figure out how many Gods there are or who in fact is God.

Michael Rood isn't a false prophet, a prophet is someone who claims to have been contacted by the supernatural or the divine, and to speak for them, serving as an intermediary with humanity, delivering this newfound knowledge from the supernatural entity to other people.

Michael, when he does consider the times, which btw I don't see you criticizing Hal Lindsey, Billy Grahman or any others for, has never claimed to have been in contact with the Almighty. He, like most are simply using reasoning to attempt a guess of where we are in God's plan.

Rood is NOT a man of God. He’s trying to put man back under the laws of Moses which we have seen scripture describes as having a “vail upon their heart”.

2 Corinthians 3: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

It’s not until we turn to the Lord that vail is taken away and then we have liberty.

2 Corinthians 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The Roodites and the Catholics have a lot in common. Roodites are more like Catholics than born again Christians.

When did this grace perversion really get going? I know it could only be in recent times. At least the protestant denomination I was raised in kept and respected the commandments and teachings of the Almighty and Yeshua, same as Michael Rood believes.

Again, Michael Rood seems to be an equal opportunity critic of manmade doctrine. So what's wrong with the Catholic understanding of the need to confess ones sins. As we've discussed earlier, it's part of repentance.
