The workers voted to keep them out. But of course the unions need a scapegoat so he’s blaming Senator Corker and the Republicans.

The NLRB already ruled the election was fair. Of course they could reverse that.

LOL, Corker huh...I doubt he had any influence in this. I think he and Alexander are on the way out. Anyway, in this economy who wants to pay union dues for no benefit.

One of the workers who voted “no” was on Fox & Friends this morning. He’s making $3 more an hour than he would get if they were unionized—the union doesn’t have anything to offer him worth that much of his paycheck.

When the UAW allowed “tier 2” in their existing plant contracts, they lost any wage appeal.

Most of the non union assy plants are paying more than UAW tier 2 and the employees don’t have to pay the 2hrs/mo dues.

I just read Michael Barone’s column about the Chattanooga vote. He says he suspects the union will try to have the vote overturned by appealing to the Obama appointees on the NLRB.

Can the NLRB nullify the election or actually force the unionization?

My guess is if they vote again, the outcome won’t change.

I’m not knowledgeable on labor law.
