They have Gregg Abbott’s name spelled ‘About’.

Heard Stockman and Stoval on the radio yesterday. Hands down I am picking Stoval over Stockman just from what I heard from the radio interview.

Thanks. That's the first report of a single peep out of Stockman that I've seen anywhere. Last I heard, he was roaming around Eastern Europe somewhere on a 'fact finding mission'.

What the.....?

I believe Mel Moss does most of the composing for the site. His spelling, punctuation, etc., leaves a lot to be desired.

For what it's worth....I am not up to date on it....more info on this thread....

The representatives, Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), Paul Cook (R-CA), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), and Steve Stockman (R-TX) met with government officials as well as members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ther “civic and religious leaders”, according to Mofid eak, press attaché at the US Embassy in Cairo.

They are polling Dan Patrick with a positive. This can’t be good.

I’m stuck with Pete Olson (former Chief of Staff for John Wayne McCornyn). He doesn’t have a challenger, I’m sorry to say.”

Me, too. One of Pete’s great young staffers left in December and is now working in Utah. Refused to say anything negative about Pete except for that Pete won’t listen to constituents or suggestions. Guess when you are running unopposed you think you don’t have to listen. Another one took over some management responsibilities for the Cornyn campaign. They are just so tied at the hip.

Wish Randy Weber would have run against him and been our Congressman instead of running and winning for the people in Galveston.

Steve Stockman was on with Michael Berry, yesterday.

I can’t believe and accept that we are stuck with this tool for another two years. It would be great to have a real representative for the 22nd CD, wouldn’t it?

Maybe longer than that. I just don’t see anybody on the horizon that is even remotely interested in running against him. I didn’t vote for him last time around and won’t this time either, as is true of several people I know. But he doesn’t really seem to care. Doesn’t even both to show up anymore but he was at the Brazoria County Lincoln Dinner last year. Made a few comments and sounded like a drunken sailor. Just pathetic.

“Pathetic” is a good descriptor.

How did he do? Did Michael seem “favorable” to Stockman?

Thanks for the link. I’m at work now but, I’ll listen later. I’ve been wanting to talk with Michael. We’re from the same SE TX town. I’m close friends with his parents and other family members. Not sure they even know who his choice is at this time.

No problem.

I like both STOCKMAN and STOVALL.

I’m holding off on voting until the last day of early voting. I want to see if anything comes out that will affect which way I go.

John Wayne McCornyn will never again get my vote, though. He’s toast in my opinion. Same goes for Dan Patrick and George P. Bush.

We’re in total agreement, although I don’t really “like” Stockman. I’ll vote for him if he’s in the run-off, but, I think he has the LEAST chance of defeating Cornyn in the run-off election. Trust me: The Cornyn forces have tons of dirt on Stockman that they will release after the Primary March 4th.

The best we can hope for is a run off with Stockman. ____________________________________________________________ Hmmmmm....... Not so sure about that Windflier. I don't think Stockman is the "best" we can hope for. He's been my Congressman two times. This is what I told another FReeper a short time ago: I’ll vote for him if he’s in the run-off, but, I think he has the LEAST chance of defeating Cornyn in the run-off election. Trust me: The Cornyn forces have tons of dirt on Stockman that they will release after the Primary on March 4th.
In addition to that, let me say that when everything comes out, between the Primary and the Run-Off Election, a lot of FReepers, who vote for Stockman, will wish they had their vote back.

The McCornyn forces will use the exact same template that David Dewhurst used against TED CRUZ in their run-off and that’s a fact.

I’m equally determined to see that they have the very same result.

Glad to hear your determination. With eight (8) candidates, the Primary will take care of itself; there will be a run-off. But, we are really going to have to work our butts off between the Primary and the Run-Off Election.

The same as what we had to do to see TED CRUZ become the only Senator from TEXAS that does what he said that he would do.

Nothing worthwhile comes easy or without good effort.
