If I recall correctly, he was also in the news a couple years back when he refused to do a nude or some sort of semi-explicit sexual scene based on his religious (Roman Catholic, IIRC) beliefs. Another reason maybe why his appearance in the commercial "offended" the ever offended.

There's an old rude saying about such people ... "F*** 'em if they can't take a joke". I hope a few of them read that and are so offended they simply explode in a cloud of pink goo.
