Saying a prayer now for your daughter, her children, her husband, and you.

P.S. How did she manage to get all overnights? Did the ex agree to limited visitation? Or is the ex dangerous in some way? I ask because courts don’t limit visitation unless there’s a very good reason. In fact, even when there’s a good reason, the courts won’t do it.

He agreed for her have 100% of the overnights because he failed to pay for a speeding ticket, which led to his license being suspended and his car impounded because he did not pay for his auto insurance.
Then he was fired from his job because of suspected theft which led to him being evicted from his apartment.
So he had no car, no place to live and no job.
My daughter got a lawyer who drew up a new parenting plan which gave her all over nights. He agreed what else could she do.
The agreement could be modified in two years, and small modifications could occur between the two of them if his circumstances changed.
He does have a CPS report against him because the kids came home with bruises, they made him take a parenting class and he had to write something that if it happened again he would lose his parental rights.

I talked to her this morning and she has calmly put together items to file in court on Monday, things he had failed to follow through on, which puts him in contempt and she has an appointment with her lawyer as well.
