This is actually the sort of thing you could talk about in spanish language newspapers—as being what the democrats are about.
It ain’t our business what other countries do about homosexuality. We’ve got our own problems and our own homosexuals to deal with over here. Monkeying with other nations about an issue that has absolutely no effect on us is something we need to stay far away from.
There is no blood test to say where your sexual attraction lies. Absolutely none. Whereas with skin color, that’s a totally different story. As for pedophilia, well, it’s pretty much already a legit relationship for people to go and have homosexual acts when you’re at the age that would get you charged with statuatory rape if you were doing the same thing in an opposite sex relationship.
According to the shows on the tube, well there’s this massive conspiracy to get at all homosexuals and homosexuals are the most persecuted element of society, at least according to TV. In the real world, well, it’s an exaggeration.
This thread is but one of a great many, which daily demonstrate how far afield the Federal Government has drifted from any conceivable Constitutional purpose. What an historic travesty!

Why don't you gently explain to her that she is addressing an issue, which ceased to be the main focus of the subject matter, here, at least 21 years ago, when Bill Clinton tried to put a spotlight on the demands for affirmative acceptance, before he retreated to the "don't ask, don't tell" approach.
The efforts to force the rest of humanity to accept certain behavior as the equivalent to normal human sexuality, is hardly asking for privacy in one's own dwelling. It is flaunting behavior that most of humanity has found offensive; that most theology considers totally unacceptable. This thread is about an effort to deny the rights of the rest of humanity to even state their feelings on the subject; to even take constructive steps to protect their children from being corrupted by those flaunting that behavior; to even refuse to do business with those flaunting that behavior.
One cannot request to be respected in his closet, when he parades down main street, demanding the right to mock marriage--for thousands of years the way Mankind sanctifies procreation & family formation--with acts that cannot possibly lead to procreation.
