The prophet David gave us an insightful overview of the Torah, He made known His acts unto Israel His ways unto Moses. Moses pled for the Almighty to reveal Himself to him, so the Almighty moved Moses into the cleft of the rock and covered him with His hand as the glory of YHVH approached. Moses was only allowed to see Him after He passed by. So it is, that we are seldom allowed to see what He is doing or going to do but in hindsight we can see His ways that so profoundly affect our lives.
After understanding the ways of the Almighty, Moses then records this information for those upon whom the end of the age has come.

Sad little Christians who want to be Jews. They do it by taking the LORD’s name in vain and sprinkling their lives with Judaica and bits of Hebrew.
It's not in vain when used in the spreading of HIS Word friend. Your Rabbis have made up their own rules about it. Study the scriptures if you really care to know the truth.
Psalm 33:21 Trusting in His Holy Name brings rejoicing.
Psalm 44:20 His Name has been forgotten/neglected by many of His people!
Psalm 54:6 His Name is important to know!
Psalm 69:36 Zion is the land promised for those who love His Name
Psalm 118:26 A Messianic Hymn; Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of YHVH.
Psalm 138:2 His Name and His Word will be exalted above everything else!
Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!
Long ago he proved himself a date-setting false prophet. Don’t walk, RUN from Rood!
:-)
Rood teaches that the Hebrew feasts are shadow pictures of things to come (e.g, the Fall Feast is a shadow of the second coming). He did misinterpret events around the turn of the century, as many did. That said, he's no prophet receiving communications from the Almighty. He did stoop to conjecture and sharing his thoughts that things would begin happening around 2000 ("if his calculations were corrected - his caveat). I think he learned a valuable lesson from it:
"To be frank with you, I was not looking forward to being right this year. I know these things must come to pass, but I do not desire the trouble that is on the way. I cannot blame "the LORD", an "angel", or anyone else for my being wrong. I'm wrong all by myself. Some people have attached prophetic weight to my personal interpretation of scenarios that would transpire if the Fall Feasts were to begin their intermediate fulfillment this past fall. The Feasts of the LORD are prophetic. I am not."
I believe he is right about the feasts being shadow pictures. Particularly the "Fall Feast" a shadow picture of the second coming. That said, we can't be sure of which year even though many of us probably think we're in "the season".
Long before insecure, fake Christian-Jews roamed the internets, the sages (who were Jews - real ones) made it clear that scripture would always be quoted by frauds to defend their lies.
Back at you...
I used to post in a Christian chat room. There was a small contingent there who got excited at the approach of the Hebrew feasts. They would crow, “We’re going home tomorrow night! The skeptics and mockers will be left behind! See you in heaven tomorrow, brother!”
The feast would pass, and posters in the chat room would laugh and ask them why they were still there, instead of in heaven. Oh, would they get mad!
And when the feasts rolled around again, they would start up all over...”See you in heaven tomorrow!”
If the Spring Feast wasn't complex enough to accomplish precisely as prophesied, it also required the occurrence of a Veadar (second Adar) month. We were told the end from the beginning. The accomplishment of that which is already occurred is proof of the Devine nature of these feasts and why they must be kept as commanded.
Of note, this year will be a leap year along with two blood moons occurring exactly on Feast days - two more blood moons on Feast days next year as well.
Just sayin'... ;)
Or I might not. Rood is well known as a snake oil salesman, a false prophet, and a cult leader. He's a con man who has claimed at various times to have been born and raised in several different areas of Michigan, but public records have turned up no such individual in any of those places.
Rood was a leader in The Way, International. That particular cult denies the deity of Jesus, the deity of the Holy Spirit, and salvation by grace. It denies certain Biblical teachings and "improves" on them....for instance, teaching that Jesus was crucified with four people instead of two. This cult has a publication called "Jesus Is Not God."
This is the second cult posting I've seen pop up here on FR in as many days. It's quite sad. But what's even sadder is the fact that there will always be magnetic, malignant personalities who will claim to have secret knowledge of God and the Bible that no one else has, along with intricate, labyrynthine interpretations of the "truth". And there will always be deceived, weak-minded people who fall for what they're selling.
I know around 2000, Rood made public his thoughts on events happening in those days as related to what saw at the time as related to end time events. He added a caveat that if he calculated correctly. He also admitted to being wrong and I feel he may have learned a valuable lesson from it:
"To be frank with you, I was not looking forward to being right this year. I know these things must come to pass, but I do not desire the trouble that is on the way. I cannot blame "the LORD", an "angel", or anyone else for my being wrong. I'm wrong all by myself. What is sad is people who listen to others (even Rood) without doing their own research and not reading and researching the scriptures for themselves. I know he is abrasive and an equal opportunity religious critic. That said, he is extremely knowledgeable of the scriptures.
Pour soul... That’s all you can say for your hybrid wannabe faith. Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew, would weep for you, and beg you to reverse course.
You might repeat - “back at you...”
You are your own Captain.
You are the Captain of your faith.
You use scripture to fill your needs.
Good luck.
I trust him; do you?
I certainly would were I a Christian, for a Christian worships Jesus among other things, such as Mary, the Holy Mother, depending on his particular branch of your faith.
I think you confuse the word "faith" with religion. Like many others, you can't see the forest for the trees.
It’s okay. You can be whatever you want to be, and you can dabble in whatever gods, faiths, and religions you like. It’s part of being young!
