Yes. Watch the History Channel version. They contended that God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because they became so “inhospitable”. I kid you not. It’s on Netflix if you have it. Just type Sodom and it will come up.

That's what my United Methodist Church pastor said in a sermon about 10 years ago. I left the UMC shortly thereafter. There IS a point- homosexuality is one of the most inhospitable lifestyles you can live.

The Chumash (Torah) commentator Rashi says that even the animals were affected by human rottenness and became sexually perverse, thereby including themselves in the mabul (flood). It is noteworthy that the decision to wipe out the earth was due to the corruption of people first, and nature second indicating that G-d made the earth for man. His responsibility even before “the fall” was to tend to and care for it.
