That was obviously an attempt at humor.

I know.

So....where you heading?

Well, assuming my craft has no limitations in terms of speed, mobility,so for argument's sakes I've got a ship not unlike the Enterprise 1701-D as it appeared in Star Trek The Next Generation but still I have reservations about that as it lacks the romance, sense of excitement that comes with a slower, less sophisticated ship. But we're looking for safety and speed so we're gonna stick with The Enterprise D.

I remember watching the last iteration of Star Trek called oddly, enough Enterprise, :-) the series that goes back a hundred years before Kirk appears where warp drive had only been invented, Now,I'm not aware of what sense of perspective you're coming from in terms of familiarity with Science Fiction/space Travel so while I've chosen Star Trek as my mode of space travel, social conventions I won't get too bogged down in minutiae as not to bore you or discuss lore of what you're not familiar with. So Captain Archer, of the Enterprise gets a technical update on the latest warp drive speed records and tells one of his officers of the latest speed records achieved and says it with the most intense utterly mind-boggled sense of surreality, says it with a sense of detachment that had him almost dream-like in what his mind seemed almost unable to grasp fascinated, mesmerized, down to very last sub-atomic component in his body; You know, the new ships are achieving warp drive capability that now gets them from Earth to Neptune in nine minutes, Nine minutes saying it over and over and over again,so surreal does it seem to him w=yet within the sense of reality in which it does occur in the show. Anyway, I will continue to share with you the navigational duties you seem fascinated about but will hold off until if,when your interest is still there and you still give a shit or have simply gone to sleep. To be continued unless it's not.
