When I entered the Air Force in the early 70s, we had former residents from Yugoslavia, Hungary, Poland, and other communist countries come to some of our professional military training classes to tell us about life under communism. We knew first hand from their stories what we were fighting against. We knew how lucky we were to be living in a country with our Constitutional freedoms. We don’t teach these things in our schools anymore, therefore, our children are STUPID when it comes to understanding life under communism. Wake up America! Unfortunately, it may be too late.

I joined the Air Force in 1976... remember those great Soviet Awareness briefings in which a role player in a Soviet military uniform would extol the virtues of the “glorious Russian land and people” with an authentic Russian accent? Those were the best!
