Maybe you don't know what capitulation means, but you sure don't know who your friends are. Where we are in terms of our blatantly unconstitutional government usurpations of power is through no fault of mine, thank you very much. I've done everything I could do short of armed rebellion.

Getting us back to where we need to be will requires a series of steps. Bitching that we can't leap to the end is counterproductive. Progressives didn't pervert our constitution in one step, it's foolish to think we can fix it in one step.

I believe I have heard all the excuses as to why we cannot end taxes calculated from incomes and return to our Constitution’s original tax plan. I have been at this for almost forty years. I can assure you repealing the 16th Amendment and ending taxes calculated from incomes will never happen until the people, that includes both of us, rise up and support an actual proposal to do so.

My suggestion to those who want real tax reform, which would include withdrawing Congress’ power to lay and collect taxes calculated from profits, gains and other incomes, is to study how the 18th Amendment got adopted and how the people rose to the occasion to have it repealed.
