When I lived in upstate NY in ‘87 I was told at that time a female cow was about $750. So, what are they worth today? Do you know?

A "female cow" is a cow! Period! A heifer is a young cow...one that has not had a calf yet.
A "male cow" is a bull or steer.
A bull has balls! A steer is a bull that has been castrated.
That's your cattle lesson for today!

BTW, a friend sold "a few cows and calves" 2 weeks ago for $11,000. I'm not sure how many but it was told because the price is way up.
He raises them to sell...he won't eat what he has fed and they have names. His wife buys what they eat.
