“I am certain he is being quoted incorrectly, and I am certain his premise is correct...he’s still extremely unwise to even bring it up. He needed to stay on point. He made the same fatal flaw of some of our candidates. Stay on message.”

Mr. Bundy is not a politician or a candidate for anything. But he needs to do what a tea party candidate should do. Stand by your statements and don't back down. He has a good message. And he is right. He just didn't use the exact right words.

The problem is, there are no right words that a conservative can say. According to the media. Or the left. Same thing, but anyway....I have no tolerance for racists. Nothing in what Mr. Bundy said sounded to me to be racist. Everything he said sounds racist to Liberals. So, who's right?

Heck, I don't know the man, maybe he is a racist. But there is nothing wrong with this particular message. As a matter of fact it needs to be hammered into the nation's consciousness. By a more polished messenger to be sure.

From what he said, I don’t think he’s a racist at all, but as an older gentleman he used words that are widely considered outdated. Also, in saying some might better off as slaves, that’s simply asking for trouble. He’s giving commentary on the situation in the black community, and I think his underlying premise has truth, but it’s so filled with clearly dated terms and bad comparisons, it was just plain stupid. Someone in his family needed to cut off that interview asap as soon as it went sideways.
