Democrats support their people no matter what, as long as they advance the agenda.
Hannity and Beck couldn’t wait to pile on because somebody had stolen their limelight and failed the “purist line”. It looks like they only want to advance the agenda of helping their bottom line. If the old gray lady said it then it’s fact? Where’s the attack on the NYT?
There are the far worse and more racist statements of Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Eric Holder, and Barack, but not a peep. Democrats don’t engage in this kind of BS, they circle the wagons.
Cliven Bundy is a symbol for Americans that are fighting back against an oppressive federal government. Bundy’s personal opinions on various topics don’t interest or concern me and they don’t in any way tarnish the fact that he’s taken a principled stand against our tyrannical government.
This don’t mean doodlysquat.
The media has already shouted from the rooftops “RACIST!”
They WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK.
They WILL NOT PRINT THIS STORY.
They got their message out... time to be quiet now.
Somewhat similar to the way the unchallenged media of the early 90’s stoke up hated and fear of the Branch Davidians to justify the deadly attack by the Federal Government that killed 80 men, women and children.
Now, there are many who will cheer if he and his family are gunned down.
So the NYT’s and the other media, with the government lied to us about this???
And some people still obfuscate and continue to enable this to continue...
Sounds to me like we all need to unplug from the abnormal TV broadcast networks, and Cable networks for that matter, for at least a couple of weeks...Go sit outside in the backyard, enjoy the weather, if you can, and sip on some lemonade...
We all know where this is going...We need to build up our strength and resilience and be ready to fight this tooth and nail if you have the courage to do so...
I believe the tide of opinion is changing in this country, and it has been a long time coming...

I stand with Bundy.
I saw through the noise. people see the word “slave” and all common sense goes out the door.
I hadn’t read up on the Bundy issue, but I did listen to Chris Plante yesterday morning. Plante was saying the ‘published’ article about Bundy’s supposed racism was sourced to an unnamed reporter who apparently was present.
Plante emphasized over and over that the publication did not give the name of the only reporter who was present.
From that, I considered it was probably an issue manufactured or altered by the publication.
We know from many previous ‘issues’ that the media are very adept at altering original source materials to fit their agenda.
Whose surprise? anyone?

Beck and Hannity should feel much shame.
I’m not on board with supporting either Bundy’s or BLM’s handling of the entire range situation. However, I do agree that he is being unfairly tarred and feathered by the media for a clumsily worded statement that isn’t nearly as sinister as what it is being made out to be.
Mr Bundy really should get a spokesperson to deal with the media. I am sure there are supporters of his on site that have media savvy who could do the job.
Unfortunately perception often trumps reality and like it or not, the media is crafting a perception of him as being a bigoted loose cannon. I can understand why Mr Bundy wants to plead his case in person but sometimes it is better to let someone else do your talking for you.
