I would love to take a community college course on proper use and maintenance of handguns. I have to be careful who I even speak to about that around here though. By my unauthorized estimate, over half the population is fine with handguns or guns for hunting or skeet shooting. But the media and social institutions such as schools have demonized and mystified the very idea of guns, that some have a default position of being overcautious to any sort of guns. I just think it would be enjoyable to go target practicing. I would even consider an archery class if I find one nearby and affordable. That has nothing to do with hunger games, by the way, as I haven’t seen the first movie.

No community college anywhere I know of would consider adding a course like that to their curriculum...

you would be better suited to seek out a certified instructor on firearms safety, at possibly a local gun range...

Possibly even an NRA certified instructor who would gladly show you the do’s and dont’s of those maintenance issues...
