Since the 70s, Watergate is the baseline for judging presidential behavior. Because of the deaths and cover-up this is a much larger scale.
It will be interesting (and hopefully not tragic) to see how this turns out in the long run. But the standards have been set and we should see an impeachment and removal. Notice I say should. Can’t bet on it. This is the time for the congress to grow a pair.
We also need to keep The Defender of Benghazi’s roll in the forefront as she presses her presidential run, already in progress. Notice the absence of media inquiries about what she did and why, before and during the incident and in the subsequent cover-up.
In a “normal” society she would be shamed and shunned and a presidential run would be out of the question.
I would add “national security implications” to the second sentence.
Notice the deems are crawling out of the woodwork to start defending him. It’s old news, what difference does it make, repubs are out to get him, yada, yada, yada.
As they did before, it’s all about sex, etc.
