If the GOP takes the senate it will be business as usual.
Now ask what happens if the Tea party takes the senate.
Either some semblance of Constitutional balance is restored, or the Republic is over. Government Agencies have become the masters of the system that created them, and the masters of the people.
True leaders could take a place of honor alongside the Founders. Instead we have Boehner, McConnell, Graham, McCain and their ilk compromising with Pelosi, Levin, Reid, and Team Obama .... assuring favor from the Agencies for their contributors, rather than simply standing up for their people and their state.
That’s easy
Obama impeached
Holder convicted of ignoring subpenas
Hillary convicted of treason
IRS closed
budget balanced
Obamacare repealed
Borders closed with massive deportation of illegals.
Boehner and McConnell have this list and just waiting
More of the same.

Two things will happen the day after the election.
Inflation will hit double digits, unemployment will expectedly rise to 16.5% according to the Press.
Sometime between the first week in November and January 9th the RINOS will pass comprehensive Immigration reform granting citizenship to 23 Million criminal invaders and allow for another 37 Million relatives to flood across the border.
Between Jan. of 15 and November of 16 the Rinos will push liberal social policies to try to bribe the newly minted citizens that they care more for them than the Democrats.

how about Senate Majority leader Mitch getting rid of the filibuster forever?

I don't believe that for a minute. you're here, after all. 15 years ago, I was saying the same things as you. I was proven very, very wrong. I learned my lesson, and figure I would spread the common sense with a lil historical reference, is all.
Here’s what I’m saying: Operation American Spring is being ignored by people who say elections won’t make a difference. People here are even saying it’s the wrong way to do this. One guy on here even said it was treason. Then every one of them will talk about how electing GOPers will accomplish nothing.
Implement “Common sense gun control”.

Do you seriously think our low opinion of the do nothing GOP is the reason they are do nothing?
Please, don’t suggest that the GOP’s upcoming [non] performance in the Senate is somehow our fault because of our low expectations. Which are solidly and logically based on past performance *and* current stupid statements from jerks like Marco Rubio who is already broadcasting intent of corruption. Or Mitch McConnell who has screwed us almost immediately after he got reelected.
