THE LACK OF MORALS Of course this is terribly wrong, but according to me, and according to God. But where does the govt or law enforcement go to determine something is morally wrong? To a godless state it's wrong because the majority still thinks it's wrong. It's wrong only because the old timers drilled it into our heads. Or it's wrong because evolution evolved morality1. Or it's wrong because the state wasn't getting it's cut of the revenues through taxation. This godless world is just a ship on the rolling sea with no paddle, no sails, and lots of wind.
Jesus said, "20...“That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. 21 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, 22 deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. 23 “All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.” Mk 7:20ff. The Bible is clear on morality but society is not.
The pot shops in Colorado are collecting 20% tax on pot sold for recreational smoking. The state is like a pimp, or a crime syndicate, in control of the vice and making a killing in profits from it. It's pretty disgusting to me.
And it's disgusting to see this is what teens are doing. Is money the only right? I heard about a teen the other day who made a porn movie because, the story goes, she had lots of bills and saw this is the only way to pay for them. But then she was ashamed and so she killed herself. This is the problem. There are not godly moral standards being taught to the children so that they know long before they have bills that money isn't everything. They should know that some things are sacred. They should know that aren't worth any amount of money. Like the soul. The soul is worth protecting but in a godless society there's no soul. There's no God and there's no consequences. So do what ever you want.
Laws without God don't make any sense. Why are filthbags in Las Vegas or Amsterdam able to sell sex and people are flocking to it? Why is it wrong there and not in Fairfax, VA? Why are people sitting in jail for selling pot in Texas but "bud tenders" get all the respect in Colorado? The norms of right and wrong is screwed up.
Why would Germans sit by sipping their beer and eating their schnitzels while just down the road thousands of human beings are being incinerated for the crime of being different? The foundation is being set once again for horrible atrocities to be committed by governments because governments have no moral imperative. There's no right or wrong. Many people today couldn't answer why the mass killing of Jews was wrong.
"For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." Revelation 18:3.
We need God. A society, from the local high school all the way up to the White House, begins to lose it's moral compass, the society begins to collapse. There are some people who want this. The Devil certainly wants it. And the sons of the Devil want it. There people in this society who worship at the feet of Baal want this collapse. Like a mafia that trades in sex, drugs, and gambling, so the government is trading and making a killers profit from sex, drugs, and gambling. But this moral collapse is not sustainable. God will judge and will bring the entire thing down.
Given enough time, no one will care if the local high school video club is selling sex on the web. There will only be the question if the state is getting it's cut of the action. And God is not pleased.
