My point on this is authorities had been WARNED on SEVERAL
occasions about this young man. WHY did they NOT check to just see if this young man was TRYING to, or RECENTLY purchased firearms, in
CA. it takes FOREVER to actually take a firearm HOME!!!! WHY did they
NOT run a very simple check on this!!!
That’s not to say they did nothing.
Do you have any idea how many times the police do a Wellness Check on someone to see if they are suicidal or otherwise seriously distrubed AT THE TIME OF THE VISIT?
They did not have any cause to execute a search warrant and so what if they found out he had guns...we are now going to take guns of anyone who has emotional problems of some sort...and WHO will decide under what grounds?
Police checking on his guns? They don’t even do that in Chicago or Detroit and look at the gun homocides there.
