I go to an original link only 10% of the time anyway, if other posters are like me, chances are links posted shouldn’t get that many hits anyway.

I’ve seen the practice criticized previously on FR, and knew there was a problem of sorts. I generally thought someone was getting paid for advertising based upon hits to his blog, and using FR to generate additional hits for personal profit.
But the link helps, and I appreciate the clarification!
