So she can write in cursive now?

Probably not. They don't teach it in school anymore.

They do in Texas. A second grader in DH’s class today asked if he could write his answers in cursive.

To be fair, cursive belongs in the historic languages curriculum with Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. It is useful for reading historic documents in their original former but there is no place for it in business or science.

“Probably not. They don’t teach it in school anymore.”
