These abuses of power by the IRS scream that we need to do away with the IRS.
But there are people who actually argue FOR this tax system.
That boggles my mind.
The ONLY people screaming for this tax system are corporations like GE
and people who pay NO taxes and get a huge refund EVERY YEAR
due to child tax credits!!!!!!
They fall into two types: those that profit financially FRom the income tax system, and those committed Marxists who actually believe in a steeply progressive income tax.
I suspect a third, now that I have given the matter a few minutes thought: IRS employees (and other power-crazed big government statist types) who enjoy inflicting pain on people.
