I was on board trying to force the US to accept the legal removal of Mel Zelaya. He was bought by the drug cartels and by the Cuban model communists.
Unfortunately, Mr. Lobo is not much better. Drug cartels are decimating the country.
I have friends there and personally like the Hondurans I know or have met.
It was once a poor but functioning Republic. It was an ally in the days of the Contra efforts in Nicaragua.
Of course Obozo wanted them under Chavez & Fidel’s heels.
Now, the issue is as with all immigration. Undivided loyalty. Under any other POTUS we would simply help them expel the Commie B_tards in Honduras and let them recover their nation. Obozo has only made things worse for them.
Actually, Lobo is no longer in office. He was succeeded by Juan Orlando Hernandez, also a member of The National Party, back in January.
